Members Class (12) is designed to prepare members and
friends of World Victory Church, especially New Members, for
successful and holy integration into the family of God through twelve
classes taught over a period of twelve weeks. The lessons, from the
curriculum guide written by the founder-pastor, are taught on
consecutive Sundays (as announced) from 10:00 am - 10:45 am. by
qualified instructors of the Bible. the classes include the following:
Week 1: "THE GOSPEL" (Glad tiding of Salvation): This
lesson teaches God's solution to an old problem. Seeing the Word as
our only hope in this life and in the life to come.
Week 2: "MAN'S RESPONSE TO THE GOSPEL":
Students will learn the meaning of God's grace and study repentance,
faith and baptism.
Week 3: "THE NEW LIFE": This class will consider the new
birth, union with Christ, justification and the baptism of the Holy
Spirit.
Week 4: "THE CHURCH (AS THE BODY OF CHRIST)": This
lesson teaches our link to Christ and to one another and is based on
John 14 and I Corinthians 12:13.
Week 5: "PRINCIPLES OF AUTHORITY": Students will study
how to use the authority God ahs placed in the Church. Also, how WVCLC
is governed.
Week 6: "LIVING WITH GOD'S MONEY": This lesson examines
the principle of financial stewardship: using money in accordance with
scripture.
Week 7: "SINGLE LIVING": Students will explore God's
Will for Singles.
Week 8: "FAMILY LIFE": This lesson
considers how the family fits into God's plan for a perfect society.
Week 9: "SACRIFICIAL LIVING": This lesson teaches that
God is not merely calling Christians to serve and is based on Romans
12:1.
Week 10: "SPIRITUAL GIFTS": In this class, students will
explore the meaning of special gifts or functions in the body of
Christ.
Week 11: "THE LIFE CENTER MINISTRY": In this class,
students will look at the structure and the underlying philosophy of
the Life Center ministry.
Week 12: "MISSION OF WVCLC": In this final lesson,
students will review the mission of World Victory Church and Life
Center as a community church. This will explain the role of each
member as a part of a "whole" in Christ.
