Men's Seventy:

 Leader, Deacon Ronald Taylor

Focuses on the need for  Christian men, young and old, to be involved in the church, and to present a positive role model for their families and the community. Supports other ministries of the church and provides support for the enhancement of church functions and programs.  Projects include:

  • Co-sponsorship of the Annual Church Cookout
  • Fish Fry and Car Wash
  • Breakfast with the Pastor
  • Annual Fishing Trip
  • Delivery of Thanksgiving Baskets 

Women's Seventy:

Leader, Ms Joyce Boisson

A spiritual group of women who meet to support one another, reach out to others, and to grow in grace with Christ.  One goal is to bring members closer together in fellowship through activities accomplished through team-building, leadership development, partnerships, mentoring, and linking to community resources. Projects include:

  • Co-sponsorship of the Annual Church Cookout
  • Preparation and delivery of Thanksgiving baskets
  • Embracement of the Elderly
  • Annual Martin L. King Jr. Day Celebration
  • Collection of coats, hats, gloves, and flip flops for homeless shelters
  • Encouragement cards to the Prayer Ministry List

WIMPY:

Wednesday Inspirational Music, Prayer, and Yearning is designed to enhance the "whole person concept" for senior citizens throughout the community.  Each meeting includes fun and games, exercise, educational presentations on subjects such as health care, security, insurance, retirement benefits, and a host of other topics that meets the needs of seniors and other retirees.  WIMPY meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 12 noon in Unity Hall.
